Rob Baumgardt is a lawyer and partner of this firm.

He is a criminal law expert, specialised in appeals in cassation to the Netherlands Supreme Court. Besides this, he also handles “common” criminal cases, including environmental crime and international criminal cases. He has acted in high profile cases such as the Dover case, the Schiedammerpark murder and the Spijkenisse attic murders.

Besides this, he also works as a teacher and is a member of the Criminal Law Committee of the National Bar in Rotterdam (Commissie Strafrecht van de Orde van Advocaten in Rotterdam), the Supervisory Committee of the social readjustment institute De Hartelborgt (Commissie van Toezicht van de R.I. De Hartelborgt) in Spijkenisse, the Dutch Association of Defence Counsel (Nederlandse Vereniging van Strafrecht advocaten - NVSA) and the Rotterdam Association of Defence Counsel (Rotterdamse Vereniging van Strafrecht Advocaten - RVSA).
